Suggesting at this point ( = low proportion) not to integrate EV assembly in the flow of ICEV assembly for the following reasons: - different tools (example: lifting of batteries) - different components adding to increased supply diversity to line - different takt time and skills (example wiring) affecting line balance - low frequency of repetition hence low operator's efficiency (dilution of learning instead of focus) If all assembly need to be done on the same line, then at a minimum proceed in batches. Critical for BEV, not so much for light hybrids obviously.
