For example in replacement of data scrubbing and survey questions, we can train AI for sentiment analysis, use big data to map journeys, VR/AR for simulations, predictive analytics on behaviours for personalization, and IoT for ethnographic insights. These innovations increases speed to market, reduces interruption, ability to track ROI of CX and drive more tailored experiences.

Working in CX is a team sport - you'll never be able to keep up by yourself. So take the lead and engage your own cohort! Effectively embracing change in customer experience will require actively engaging with other CX professionals outside your organization to learn how others are addressing CX challenges. Avoid being lost in a sea of voices. Instead, engage in a smaller group and participate. Seek out and get actively involved with industry networking groups and conferences. Assuming it was not, ask, "What would have made it a 10?" Then act on the feedback! Seek out your own "dirty dozen" cohort! Others who will give you straight feedback and to whom you will give honest feedback. It doesn't have to be exactly 12. The point is actively engaging with other CX professionals and investing in one another's success.

Every company seeks constant innovation. One of the biggest innovation areas in customer service is increasing customer satisfaction while decreasing business costs. As a frontline agent you have the direct insight of what customers are having friction points with and by voicing their feedback while adding solutions during management interactions can help you grow. Think of the problem your client is having and how you personally would like to complete that same task; maybe it is as simple as suggesting integrating an online payment solution so customers don’t have to call or visit a physical office.

Some of the ways I’ve found most useful to expand my role is offering to: - be a mentor for new hires - offer to help review policy and procedures on your department - help lead team building exercises I also encourage you to seek out additional learning material right your company learning site.

Mentorship is the one of the important part of every journey where we ready the newbies on how to bettle on the ground with skill such as active listening, assist customers and understand their pain points by showing the empathy, address their issues instantly etc. Customer Service work is not an individual work according to my experience because it's a team work where we need continuous support from each other while working because at the end of the day, we all are serving our customers and building the good brand image. Also, customer service people is responsible for organically promoting the brand "without promoting it". So, by giving the right directions to the new joiners will help them to follow legacy and do things the right way.
