Mas que un fracaso, yo lo veo como una oportunidad de aprendizaje. Todos estamos expuestos a quedarnos atrás con la velocidad que trabaja la tecnología hoy en día. Es fundamental plasmar en una hoja de papel y escribir tu proceso...tomarte un tiempo (para pensar en frío), ver en que te equivocaste y de ahí tomar notas en como podemos mejorar. Además pedir una opinión a cercanos puede beneficiar a ver otros puntos de vista, pueden crecer opciones y mejoras. Muchas veces nos obsesionamos con solo un punto, pero pueden aparecer varios en el proceso que son mejores caminos y complementarios.

Making a support network in digital learning journey is essential to overcome failures. Because they follow the same path as ours and will have the same difficulties we have. We can make support networks by linking with colleagues in our university and work place, joining learning communities/groups/forums in social media networks in the field. Making peer groups is not enough active participation is important by sharing knowledge, experience, insights and providing guidance when necessary. Sharing your problems and asking guidance will help solve your problems and in return will support your peers also.

Recentemente, me envolvi ativamente em um grupo de colegas na plataforma digital que estou usando para aprender novas habilidades. Além disso, ofereci meu apoio e construí relacionamentos significativos que me sustentaram nos momentos difíceis. Criar uma rede de apoio é fundamental para superar o fracasso e alcançar o sucesso na aprendizagem digital!

Buscar ajuda com pessoas que tenham mais atendimento e possam ajudar ou orientar. Procurar por grupos que tenham mais experiencia.

É muito comum o ser humano se enganar em seus pensamentos, comportamentos e achismos. Alguém de fora, seja um mentor ou psicólogo, ajuda muito a encontrar nossas cegueiras, vaidades e vulnerabilidades. Precisamos buscar ser 100% nós mesmos, estar dispostos a ver quem nós somos por inteiro, o que é importante (valores), nossas características, o que é negociável e inegociável. Isso fara de cada assumir o protagonismo da sua vida.

Connecting with mentors or the experts in digital learning is important to succeed in our digital learning journey as they have experienced in the field and gained problem solving ability to overcome obstacles. Requesting guidance of a mentor will help us to broaden our view of a particular problem and get more accurate solutions. Their expertise and advices will put us in the correct track and help us achieve our goals and objectives. Since most of the experts have tight schedules, we need to respect their time and effort towards us.

Eles me ajudaram a definir metas realistas, ofereceram conselhos valiosos e compartilharam suas experiências para superar obstáculos. A mentoria foi uma via de mão dupla, onde também contribuí com meu entusiasmo e disposição para aprender. Encontrar um mentor pode fazer toda a diferença no seu sucesso na carreira de aprendizagem digital!

Mentors have helped me so much in my career. Having someone that you can go to when you are not sure which path to take, whether to apply for a new role, how to prepare for an interview, which course to take and so much more. Mentors can really help with those critical decisions that we all need to take from time to time. Find a few mentors, take time to get to know them and for them to get to know you. Mentors can help you fast track you career and you can have fun getting to know them along the way.

Joining and taking part in online groups can be a game changer. I set up the UK’s first online group for women in tech - BCSWomen - over 20 years ago after realising that I wanted to meet and connect with more women in computing. That decision changed my life! I met so many other women in tech, many of whom became friends, and some of whom are still friends to this day. It’s also been amazing to see the incredible ideas and initiatives that have come out of the groups members long after I stepped down from running it.

Neither Failure nor success impacts how family and friends view you. That feeling is truly reassuring. During tough days, such unconditional support and faith is extremely empowering. To me, family means everything. Tough times have come and gone, but my parents have stood by me, everyday, every time.

This could be the most underrated support system in your digital success. At the beginning of my digital career, I had to write a lot while managing my physiotherapy practice. I had to work tirelessly for nights, and it was super easy for me to skip my meals. At that point, my family supported me greatly by taking care of my meals and my sleep-wake schedule and listening to my career stories. Their care helped me focus on my new skills. I ended up writing 100+ books in 1 year and created my own digital agency. It is important to inform your family about your goals and the difficulties you can face regarding time management. Make sure you celebrate your success with them just like they helped you with your hardships.

Digital learning can be intense and lead to burnout and fatigue. It is important to schedule frequent breaks to improve your productivity. Exercise not only improves the body but also the mind. Exercise also increases our energy levels. It is important to set clear boundaries between online learning and life. Going out with friends or families, hobbies, sleep, and journaling or self-reflection will help you feel fulfilled in life. Fulfillment in life ensures that you have physical and mental energy to tackle challenges and recover from setbacks

Alguns anos venho monitorando e buscando melhorar qualidade do meu sono, acompanhamento nutricional e pratica de exercícios físicos. Assim que evoluímos na construção deste hábito, percebemos a diferença e nível de qualidade de vida. É difícil as vezes comunicar essa diferença, mas quando você sai do sedentarismo para este outro nível é como se saíssemos de um nível 4 para 8 de uma escala de 0-10.

Get an accountability partner. with digital learning it might be challenging to achieve milestones, especially in self-paced courses it is easy to fall back. An accountability partner is a person who keeps you accountable for your goals. It could be anyone. A friend, relative, colleague, or mentor. They don't have to be in the same industry as you nor have expertise in your field. As long as the person you choose has some authority over you, you're good to go.

Considero que en lugar de verse como un fracaso se debe de ver como una oportunidad, el mundo cambia constantemente y es importante seguirse actualizando y capacitando para seguir en el mercado con conocimientos actuales. Todas las ideas las considero buenas y cada uno dependiendo de sus habilidades y de donde se encuentre podrá elegir la que más se adapte. Es importante que al capacitarnos digitalmente podamos compartir y ejercer ese conocimiento que nos ayudará a nuestro beneficio y al de los demás .
