In the early days of smartphones, I had put a screen saver image that simply said "THINK". It stood out in big white letters on a black background. Using our brains is hard work and this picture reminded me exactly that. It put myself into a constant state of "think". Almost like an instruction creating energy. When I faced difficult situations, but also when I had easily found an answer, the reminder to think pushed me to reflect further, question solutions found, and think harder when I struggled to find suitable responses. Think became a mantra that kept me on my toes all the time. Think is edge!

Understand that each element of a complex problem may not have an immediate answer. It might require testing at each stage. And failures are as important as success at this stage. A complex problem split out into its elements allows for a methodical and systemic approach to a solution. Iteration over time always results in success. Each iteration, even if a failure, is a lesson learned and another step in the way to success.
