"Blind Recruiting" isn't just covering a name and age as well as other identifiable information about a candidate. I have had several conversations recently about candidates going into 2nd round interviews without the interviewer having feedback from the first round interview. This also gives the interviewer the chance to form opinions in the meeting without any bias from the first round. Any way to give the candidate an equitable chance at a role, allows the interviewer to focus on skill, values and behaviors during interviews, ensuring much better alignment with company culture.
