Practice, makes a man perfect, I think diplomacy in salary negotiate comes with experience, because the more number of interviews you have faced. I think weather in search of job or not one should always be in practice of giving interviews with online mock sessions and read about people experience on platforms like LinkedIn

One thing I found, that one should always know minimum salary that they would work at and always try for the best. The minimum acceptable offer should always be one's plan B, in case negotiation works at. This helps in better negotiation and your market valuation.

The best strategy for negotiating your pay is to constantly remind your employer of the values, skills and the unique services you are bringing to the organisation and how much the organisation will benefit from your skills beyond whatever amount they will ever pay for your service. A constant reminder of your value will make your employer believe they are going to be underpaying you when your service is compared to the salary you are proposing and this makes it easier to suceed on the negotiation table.
