Something to work on is to physically maintain anger until you can get to a physical activity (heavy bag & gloves) to allow you to expel all of the adrenaline dumped into your body from the adrenal glands. Not technically classified an emotion it is often listed, confusion. It can lead to being overwhelmed then the onset of depression. Confusion is much easier to maintain than anger but still requires a step back from the current activity, take a breather, and readdress.

That is to say that complete removal of emotion from the decision is not ideal but we must understand the impact our emotions are making on the decision and remove the unnecessary emotional effects from that decision, while keeping the necessary ones. This is a learned art that only comes with time and experience, with a splash of self awareness.

This gives you the foundation and experience you need to help others navigate through their emotions and conflict too. It isn't easy and it takes a lot of practice, but in doing so, you'll build a strong relationship with others and an even stronger one with yourself.
