Learn other teammates processes. If you walk in their shoes, you will see and feel their hardships. As you learn and watch, always ask yourself, "Is there a more efficient way to do this?" I found that sometimes I see that a process is so convoluted, and I know there has to be a better way, I just do not know what it is yet. That certainly starts the brainstorming process.
