Establishing Ground among the team members means to abide by the rules and regulations you have agreed in consensus. After making all the necessary discussions and brainstorming them together then we will write them. Then we see if it is okay for the team members and then they will be the binding ones.

I agree! Another meaningful consideration is how we prepare colleagues to participate. Bombarding others with information and expecting immediate insights can be overwhelming for anyone. In my experience, offering information, being patient while peers consider their perspective, and then inviting group dialogue can help to bring thoughtful, engaging, and original ideas to the table. By accommodating those who think less quickly than others, we engage all members of our team and will undoubtedly see richer collaborations and better results!

I love that this section addressed reflection as a learning opportunity. How can we build on reflection as a regular part of our work lives? Here are three ideas: 1. Encourage mindfulness. Create moments where the business of work stops, and afford employees space to reflect on their personal and professional wellness, goals and barriers. 2. Ask questions. For example, when beginning the process of a program audit or review, ask employees how they felt. When were they stressed? When did they experience flow? How can the system operate better? 3. Be open to feedback. Often times we say feedback is welcome, but become defensive when it’s offered. How can we use the techniques offered in this section to accept feedback and effect change?
