When its a team, every member matters and hence the team selection is very important. When choosing the team skill set and collaborative aptitude is the thing which should not be compromised. By skill set of team mates i mean that the team should be akin to a cricket team with everyone having expertise in one niche domain and few having expertise in may be two or more domains. One very important thing for us to understand for Hackathon is that it is a collaborative effort towards encouraging innovation. So we need to be innovative when participating in a hackathon. We cant be working and presenting a prototype hich is already existing. When participating in hackathon, we should collaborate to share ideas and knowledge.
