When I started developing a format about a German Ballroom House, the most important thing was the personal exchange. You can try to educate yourself as much as you can (and you should), but communication is key. Everyone is different and it is crucial not only to learn about the community but also to get to know every single person. A gender neutral approach is the key. Respect a person with dignity irrespective of the gender pronouns. The significance of socialisation increases multifold. Since our beliefs and biases are also related with how we receive our parenting and associated socialisation

O processo de afirmação da diversidade se da muito pela pratica, através das ações realizadas. Criando um espaço onde as pessoas LGBT+ se sintam acolhidas e livres para ser quem são. Esse processo se alinha muito com o quesito Eduque-se, porque a partir do conhecimento estaremos mais aptos para conviver em ambientes diversos de forma harmoniosa.

A união da comunidade e seus aliados é um caminho que possibilita de forma mais eficaz a defesa do direitos LGBTQ+, visto que somos indivíduos que costumamos está sozinho e sem apoio. Sendo assim é preciso nos unirmos para lutarmos juntos pela nossa proteção e sobrevivência.

Um forma que encontrei de autocuidado foi a terapia, ter acompanhamento profissional para lhe da com as questões mentais que enfrentamos enquanto pessoa LGBTQ+ nos deixa confortável e seguro. Outra forma de autocuidado foi criar conexões com meus semelhantes, tento vivencia e compartilhando a vida com pessoas LGBTQ+.

Remember that no one is perfect, there is always going to be something more to learn, and things change. When you lean into this you give yourself grace for mistakes you'll make and things you won't know while giving yourself control over your the pace of learning and what topics you learn about first. • Work to learn at a pace that is healthy for you and those around you. • Build your learning plan based on your environment, understanding and acknowledging the struggles faced by your coworkers will have an immediate impact. • Find places to learn from that will provide the best results for how you learn best.
