Es un momento perfecto para aumentar la cartera de contactos, encontrarse a antiguos compañeros y explorar las diferentes formas de colaboración. Sería muy recomendable asistir a las ponencias más relevantes para poder actualizarse de las últimas novedades del sector. Por último, recomendaría estar 100% concentrado en el evento y no distraerse con llamadas, correos etc. A veces, es una misión imposible por la carga de trabajo pero estar "entre dos aguas" muchas veces se traduce en no estar en ninguna.

Most importantly reach out to the attendees you most want to meet with prior to the event and if possible pre-arrange a meeting. Once you are there make sure your name badge is visible at all times. People are not mind readers! Also the chances of bumping into a person you wish to meet decrease markedly as the event progresses. Day one is always the best to make a meeting. Most importantly, have some fun. Its not just about work its creating relationships

Preparing a 3-5 minute conversation that you can strike with people during coffee / lunch / networking break. While you exchange your cards, try to make that person save your number then and there. Cards get lost.
