What I do not see in the article is where you assess your own capabilities as they exist today. Grade yourself, develop new skills, develop a new strategy are all great ideas if you know where you are starting from and what you have internally. If you only grade what you think are existing sustainability performance actions, you'll likely miss opportunities and capabilities that already exist. Those opportunities and capabilities can mature into viable sustainability actions, innovations and even offers faster than trying to develop or acquire new skills. Start with what you can already do.
