Well, that’s what everyone want’s, isn’t it? 🤓 In my experience, when it comes to understanding latest innovations, it’s all about keeping your eyes on the tech space and being very proactively curious! 👉 There many ways to do it, but all ultimately lead to continuous education, that in applicable terms means various regularly practiced activities like: 📚 reading up latest tech articles, news, reports, charts, etc. 🎙️ participating in tech forums, talks, events, conferences, and gatherings 📈 following market trends and emerging technologies 🚀 being involved in the startup community and joining hackathons 📲 actively involved in the tech communities, groups and orgs 🧑🏫 having deep conversations with tech innovation experts

👩🔬 Big part of understanding any tech innovation is in its impact: understanding its short and long term effects (beyond money), it’s as important as its technical aspects. 💬 And when talking about impact, to really understand it, we should look much further than just our companies and products, but rather see the bigger picture in terms of: ☄️Is it disrupting markets, innovating the space or creating new industries (eg. Blockchain)? 🔍What are the solution/problems-solving benefits and, if, how it may change the user behaviour, UX, or flows? 📈How is going to affect the job market, economy, values, priorities, environment, government, processes, etc.? 💼What are the main opportunities and concerns, in the short and long term?

Let’s check 3 itens. Identify risks. Identify the key risks associated with adopting the disruptive technology. This can include technical risks, market risks, regulatory risks, and operational risks. 2. Mitigation strategies. Develop strategies to mitigate these risks. This might involve diversifying investments, partnering with technology experts, or phased implementation approaches. 3. Contingency planning. Recommend contingency plans to deal with potential setbacks or failures. Ensure that investors understand the importance of having backup plans.

Putting yourself out there (a bit like dating 😁), as you need to: 📆Be open to meet new people from different markets, backgrounds, and expertise 🌆Look for events and opportunities to engage with industry experts outside of your normal reach 💬Ask your close network for connection recommendations 🧗🏻♀️Be active, as with each new contact you grow
