Asynchronous work in organization is deriving advantages from pooled skilled workers. A sizeable proportion of automotive manufacturing teams in same timezone do not work by geography only. This deviation from strict 9AM to 5 PM cycle, can lead to individuals struggling on work-life balance and feelings of burnout and anxiety. Additionally, lack of face-to-face interaction can contribute to feelings of isolation and a sense of disconnection from the team. Employers must be mindful of these stressors and implement strategies, such as team-building activities, and rotation among people in timezones to support all workforce.

As more and more dispersed teams proliferate across economies, the diversity in workforce is changing perspective of Leaders in automotive manufacturing on matters of culture and becoming instrumental to bring accountability of information dispersal from local to global and vice, encourage celebration of global cultures and most importantly respect individual availability. Some of the most vivid examples include acknowledging lunch hours and Friday informals in the 2nd halfs. In Middle East, the general working week is Sunday to Thursday. By understanding and respecting different cultural backgrounds, companies can enhance employee engagement, improve communication, build stronger relationships with customers and suppliers worldwide.

One thing i have also thought of as i was reading through is the issue of language.mostly when working across time zones the main differences which can affect work flow would be the ones mentioned above and language.you might find out that a simple question can be misunderstood resulting in wrong components or wrong information to be passed so use of language apps can be of help where necessary
