In my 11+ years in testing and automation, I have learnt that organisations may train you in QTP, UFT, Loadrunner and other licensed automated products but while on job, they always always want testers to use a solution that is "Open Source" because the budget/ money for a testing project is always very limited. Less maintenance - You can't keep modifying your scripts forever for every release.
