Once you qualified a prospect, you need to nurture. Here most companies miss the bus. They think he must become a customer " come what may"

Your event and every element promoting it should clearly define and answer the age old question - "What's in it for me?" Whether you're hosting the event yourself, speaking in front of an audience or staffing a booth, your audience needs to walk away feeling like they benefited from attending and that their time was clearly valued.

First, go to the LinkedIn search bar and search for relevant keywords or hashtags related to the event. Then, filter the most recent posts and review them. Save the profiles of people who are attending the event one by one into Sales Navigator. Afterward, apply your Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) criteria to that lead list. This will help you refine your list of potential future customers who are also attending the event.

In my opinion this has to begin with the type of event one has to market. Is it a social event, cultural event, promotional event, sales generation event, lead generation event or any other type. Audience and objectives for each will be different and therefore the marketing or promotional strategy for each will be different. Tools to be used may also differ.
