If you want to collaborate in the Nano electronics area then you first consider which organisation he/she is working in. Second in the last five years what they achieved. The credentials of the collaborators like formal education, experience, and in the last five years in which area he is working. Nanoelectronics is not just a branch it is an unexplored cave. So, whenever you are selecting the collaborators be aware that he/she does know about the cave and path which leads to the goal or not. Validate their claims seeing their last 5 year scientific journey as researcher.
