Que é uma metodologia utiliza para gerenciamento e tomada de decisão, mas que associada ao SMART que traz a definição de metas, é extremamente eficaz na elaboração de um plano de ação claro e alinhado com os objetivos. Os 5W se referem às perguntas: Who? What? Where? When? Why? e os 2H às perguntas adicionais: How? How Much? Assim você estabelece para cada meta definida no SMART, quais são as ações necessárias para alcançá-la respondendo as perguntas: O que será feito, onde, por quem, por quê, como e quanto isso custará!
