These elements help all stakeholders, and when the system works well for everyone, it naturally gets adopted more widely & becomes more acceptable.

Agility and scalability are 2 that come to mind. Technology along with global requirements are ever changing. Your solutions have to be able to pivot quickly should the need arise.

When you select an HRIS, be clear on its purpose: registering and paying employees is a must and is locally regulated. How you educate and appraise employees much less so. Many companies do this at the global level. Which means you could select a solution that does it all, or select one for basic, local HR functions, while buying a separate solution for performance-related services. Before you go out to market, spend some time thinking through your options. There are many cloud solutions available and they’re all a little different. But where you store your employee data is a fundamental decision for your HR Tech stack and that should come first.
