From my experience, first assess the situation thoroughly—determine the severity and how it aligns with your brand’s values. Be transparent with your audience, acknowledging the issue without rushing to conclusions. If the controversy contradicts your brand’s ethos, consider distancing yourself from the influencer and issuing a clear statement. In previous cases, we found that aligning with your brand’s integrity and values is critical for long-term reputation, even if it means ending the partnership.

To make sure that you design a good logo in shape of appearance and applicability, with scalability/simple form factors as the core principals. Make it look great in every size, from tweet profile pics to business cards. The image should be provided in a vector format, and tested to ensure that it is visible both when displayed on color as well as black-and-white devices. Keeping it the same as much you can ensure people know that look too.

When there is a controversy with an influencer, I think the most important thing is to be natural, transparent, accept the mistake made and look for a solution. There is no point in making excuses, you can't lie to your audience. We must give the relevant explanations and try to turn the page as soon as possible. If we give too much hype to the issue and we justify ourselves for days, we will create a bigger and more extended controversy over time. This makes no sense and must be avoided.
