To inspire a demotivated team, set specific and measurable goals by aligning them with the team’s overall vision and using SMART criteria. Break larger goals into smaller tasks, provide regular feedback, and encourage team ownership. Recognize and reward achievements to boost morale and maintain motivation.

In my experience, one of the greatest factors that fosters demotivation in many people is the consciousness of not advancing in their lives or careers, and I have noticed most of such people are also very adamant to improving their set of skills and know-how. So, with my team I take the responsibility of always seeking out to know exactly what each team member has as goals for their career advancement and self development and once we have an understanding i move on to give them guidance on how to go about their plans or modify their plans and look out for other opportunities of learning and growing which I believe will not only enhance their expertise but much more increase their productivity, and hence stay motivated.
