As soon as they feel a sense of ownership they now also feel responsible and are much more likely to be engaged and help the initiative be successful. 2. You promote data literacy where the team not only takes in trainings from your experience but they also often seek it out themselves. Data literacy ,in-turn, leads to a more educated and engaged team which makes the value proposition significantly easier and sometimes even not needed.

The order and methodology in which you convince or influence the adoption of DG can vary. There is no single prescription. Some teams are more mature in their understanding than others, some have more open minded individuals, etc. While there is always an element of culture change required the maturity level and make up of the teams and current organizational culture must be taken into account. Campaigning hard and addressing concerns with a team already on-board with starting a DG initiative can lead to wasted time and looking overwhelmed or out of touch.

Yet another silly AI question. Here's what you need to know. GIGO. When there is a SHTF moment because of lax data quality... someone on the team will no longer be working for the company. So its in our collective interest to not let that happen. This removes hours of education and training on the why they need to do it and gets to the point. Now as they implement DG, they can focus on learning how to implement DG and best practices. When you spend time trying to convince them to do something... you run the risk of someone on the team refusing to implement DG. If you have a mature team... you don't need to worry about explaining the why and they'll just do it.
