No caso por exemplo de pacientes transsexual a grande maioria não realizou cirurgia de redesignação sexual, porém mesmo assim, pergunte como gostaria de ser tratado(a) qual nome?! Para não gerar constrangimento perante outros pacientes.

Muitas vezes somos a 2º família daquele paciente. Quando os familiares não vem visitar por alguma razão, o paciente se sente sozinho; procura apoio na enfermagem e equipe médica, e assim, devemos prestar apoio em todos os ‘âmbitos’ biopsicossocial do paciente.
