I’m not sure being a “peacekeeper” is always the right way. Sometimes, people will be frustrated with choices. Work with your team to ensure opportunities are given to all, play to people strengths, help others develop weaknesses, give exposure to new projects. Don’t just try and be nice and hope it all works out (it won’t).
