Key things that have helped me stay motivated and overcome challenges in sustainability: 1/ Keep focus on the core mission - this is so much more than making. It's a mission far greater than just me, and that helps to recognise I am one part in a much wider whole. 2/ Celebrate Small Wins Acknowledge and celebrate the small achievements along the way. This helps boost morale and reinforces the idea that progress, even if slow, is still moving you forward. 3/ It's okay to ask for help - reach out. People in the sustainability space are welcoming when the mission aligns.

When sustainability projects face challenges, I think of it like hitting traffic on the way to work. You might not get there as fast, but adjusting your route keeps you moving forward. In the same way, resetting goals or trying new approaches can help overcome obstacles. Celebrating small wins, like finding a shortcut, keeps motivation high. It's all about staying flexible and focused on the bigger picture.

Fact of the matter, mostly sustainability practices are still at very early stages, where challenges are here to stay and keep coming after one another. Progress requires setbacks and each challenge present us an opportunity for learning and growth towards success. Overcoming challenges with this intent that change is a way to survival for your business then you will create a massive change.
