Gender and safeguarding are important of course and not only inside the shelter space which is probably easy to manage and control but outside might be problematic. Ablutions, toilets and other facilities need to be proximal to the accommodation and well lit. Separate male and female facilities should be provided when available otherwise a timetable needs to be made up to accommodate your groups.
