There is no magic website that shows us what people should earn - companies pay for this kind of data. A lot of the time companies have Analysts that search through a number of sources online + sometimes a recent salary survey. So you can do a similar thing and get at least a ball park (I understand you won't be as accurate). Some sources that you can use are:- ✅ Glassdoor & Comparably (even per company) ✅ Search online for recent salary surveys ✅ Check out Salary Expert, Payscale, Paylab Note: Your salary range online is also location specific and a Cost of Living can also be conducted by Analysts. Consider all of these things, including your current range when giving a salary expectation.

When negotiating, I would even encourage you to read up on negotation tactics. It's been proven that women have earned less in the past because we generally always take the first offer given and I can attest to this. Each time I made an offer to a man (in my agency days), he always countered and managed to increase his offer. Do some online courses, watch some TED Talks and see what you can pick up.

A company usually gives you the offer via phone call. I recommend to take at least 2 days to go back to them. You can give reasons such as wanting to talk about it with your spouse or with your friends or family. Most reasonable companies will accept. Take the time to review the contracts fully and ask any follow-up questions. Remember at this stage, you've got a bit more power. If they offered you under what you're expecting or under what they had first mentioned then don't be afraid to ask for more, especially if that salary range is under the minimum or the very lower end of the range that they outlined when you first had that conversation with them.
