Unless you're a rookie, job fairs (both virtual and in-person) are not an effective use of your job search time. You may see recruiters, but they don't make hiring decisions - they are merely gatekeepers. One of the primary reasons for job fairs is to collect resumes of age 40+, unemployed, and diversity candidates ... so employers can inflate the numbers they must report to government, to show they've considered these candidate classifications for employment. Your time will be better invested in networking directly to the hiring manager, and bypassing gatekeepers.
