My guiding principle is as simple as it gets: the most junior person who’s qualified to make the decision should be the one to make it. Clearly define roles using a RACI matrix, ensuring everyone knows their responsibilities. Communicate the bigger picture, setting clear expectations for outcomes and deadlines. Empower your team by giving them autonomy and encouraging initiative. Regularly monitor progress and offer support without micromanaging. Provide timely feedback and recognize achievements. Finally, review the delegation process to learn and improve for future tasks, fostering continuous growth and efficiency.

Understanding your team strength is obvious. The question is "how"? I would suggest inviting prospective team members to a meeting to discuss the client, introduce the problem and business analysis context and then have a round table conversation. Consider the conversation a brainstorming session. During this session you will learn a lot about the candidates :)

Set the 10k, 20k, 30k feet vision not just with the external stakeholders but with the internal team as well. 2. Understand individual strengths and allocate duties accordingly. Its important to know what needs to be done, how to go about it and the timeline for completion. ANother thing to be considered here are the right people to for the task so as not to lag.

In project management, it's important to define objectives and regular milestones. These different iterations allow workloads to be readapted and also reinforce synergy between teams. In my opinion, one of the worst things that can happen is that the objective to be achieved is not clear and comprehensible to the production teams, because if the guidelines are not clear, the final result cannot be.

Set Expectations: Clearly define the goals, deliverables, and timelines for each task. Ensure that every team member understands their role and what is expected of them. Provide detailed instructions and clarify any doubts upfront to avoid misunderstandings.

Each team member have their own.expertise area which they have to take the ownership. In case of cross functional project or work, they should work together. The ownership of particular area will also give them a chance to have derp down knowledge in that area. The area can be by business process or other reason such as O2C, P2P or can be finance, manufacturung etc depend on the situation.

This right here is a very important point ( empower ownership) and well summarised by LinkedIn. This is ownership of not just document/output, but rather the outcome that needs to be realised within scope. When the team is empowered to own the outcomes, you will see different behaviours and attitudes that come into play eg more initiative, more collaboration, more drive, etc. But first, as the leader, you will have to create an environment of psychological safety when asking the team to stretch to own the outcomes within their scope.

Assign tasks based on each team member’s strengths and expertise. Give them the authority and autonomy to make decisions within their scope of work. Encouraging ownership fosters accountability and motivates team members to perform at their best.

Monitoring progress and collecting feedback is not only important between the team lead and team members individually but between the members as a group. Often one team members work relies on another’s work. Sharing progress amongst the group simplifies communication and fosters team unity. The communication with the team lead and between the team members doesn’t have to always match but both are necessary for success.

During my review project, i always ask this question : Did you manage to achieve our goal and how ( if the answer is yes ) and Why ( if the answer is no ). And this create a guide line to follow colabs that needed

Hierbei liegt die Herausforderung der Flexibilität meines Erachtens in der maßvollen Navigation zwischen Vertrauensverlust auf der einen und Orientierungsverlust auf der anderen Seite. Maßvolle und flexible Delegation muss versuchen, ihrer Aufgabe des Empowerments gerecht zu werden, Vertrauen zu übertragen und Eigen-Leistung zu honorieren, ohne jedoch die Guidance aufzugeben und damit zu demotivieren.
