Be active! Companies are looking for people that can run around and look what is need to solve the client problem. "This is not my problem" - Will make you just an average employee. Try "I know some one that can help us solve this problem", "I will redirect this issue for the correct place" or even "I will research how i solve this problem". Help you team to delivery value, it's not about delivery task!

I'll say something that may be unpopular. Some time ago, everything people said here was true. And, sure, you should still be somewhat competent in whatever you're interviewing for. But today, the prevailing mantra is 'cultural fit,' a term that prioritizes the first four letters of the phrase over its true meaning. Be young, doe-eyed, hyper-pronoun-aware, left-leaning, and willing to do anything Corp. XYZ wants. Smile constantly, be energetic and self-deprecating, and laugh infectiously (seriously, practice it). Look interested in everything, sit in the office all day for no reason, and say it's all you hoped for. Throw positives about the company all over the place. That stands a better chance than anything else I read here.
