En iOS hay varios Frameworks para trabajar la concurrencia, como Grand Central Dispatch, OperarionQueue, Semaphores, manejo de Threads, Async-awayt, etc. Es importante que domines todas ellas para ejecutar un código mucho más eficiente y rápido. Por otro lado, utiliza Lazy var cuando la inicialización de la variable sea muy costosa a nivel de procesos, o cuando necesites que se inicialize después de otras. Por último, cuidado con los Memory Leaks, o fugas de memoria. Puedes utilizar la herramienta “Instruments” del propio Xcode para checkear si tienes fugas de memoria
