Leads können immer nur so gut sein wie die Daten davor und der Pitch. Dementsprechend sind die Adressdaten vorher sorgfältig nach den gewünschten Kriterien zu selektieren. Der Pitch muss griffig sein, er darf ein sehr spitzes Thema darstellen oder allgemein. Beides hat seine Vor- und Nachteile. Pitches zu gezielten Themen erhöhen zwar die Ausschussrate, erhöhen aber auch die Qualität der Leads weil dadurch eher Personen dem Termin zustimmen die man echtes Interesse haben. Im Termin selber geht es darum den Bedarf zu erkennen und die USPs deutlich darzustellen. Ein Termin sollte immer ein konkretes Follow-Up beinhalten. Danach ist eine rasche Nachbearbeitung wichtig und das man sich an das Besprochene hält.
