With potential customers now being very well informed by online information prior to engaging with a sales executive, having detailed product knowledge is key. If the potential customer knows more then the sales executive confidence is lost.

Stellen Sie dem Kunden Fragen und beantworten Ihrem Kunden auch die entsprechenden Fragen. Wenn Sie es nicht wissen, holen Sie sich einen Kollegen zur Hilfe oder lesen Sie nach, damit Sie die entsprechende Information dem Kunden mitteilen können.

Product knowledge is important but will only get you so far. Earn the right to ask for the business and then make sure you actually ask for the business, every single time. You can have all the information in the world but if you don’t ask, the answer will always be no.

The automotive industry has an unfortunate reputation for being sleazy and unethical. It's for this reason that earning trust is all the more important. To achieve this, be 100% client centric. Everything you do in the sales process should show that you are acting in your prospects' best interests.

Always listen to what the customer is saying and then use open ended questions to build value into the conversation. Show that you are interested in more than just closing the sale to break down barriers and create trust. (Something which our industry is wrongly not always associated with.)

Einer der größten Fehler ist das Sie keine Follow Up Kontakte machen! Kontaktieren Sie Ihre Kunden und klären Sie offene Fragen und Bedenken. Versuchen Sie auf eine seriöse Art die Einwände Ihrer Kundschaft aus dem Weg zu räumen. Lügen Sie aber auf keinen Fall Ihre Kunden an!!! Wenn Sie im Follow Up kein Ergebnis erzielen, vereinbaren Sie einen weiteren (Telefon) Termin und gehen Sie in der zwischenzeit nicht aktiv auf den kUnden zu, sondern geben ihm die Zeit, die er vorgegeben hat.

Be Persistent, but Respectful: If you haven't received a response to your initial follow-up, don't hesitate to send a polite reminder or follow-up message. However, be mindful of the other person's time and avoid being overly pushy or aggressive in your approach.

Holen Sie sich Feedback aktiv ein. Dies kann von Vorgesetzen, Kollegen oder auch von Kunden sein. Verarbeiten Sie anschließend das genannte Feedback und nehmen dies nicht zu persönlich. Verbessern Sie sich und beeindrucken Sie Ihre Kollegen und Vorgesetzen mit Ihrer Leistung. Und seien Sie Dankbar für die Informationen und Ratschläge, die diese Ihnen geben.

Setzen Sie sich messbare und realistische Ziele. Werten Sie diese in regelmäßigen ABständen aus und schauen Sie, was Sie erreicht haben. Haben Sie sich verbessert? Super! Schauen Sie aber immer noch wie Sie weiter sich verbessern können. ISt keine Verbesserung in Sicht, sollten Sie weiter an sich arbeiten und an Ihrer Verkaufsmethodik etwas ändern. Denken Sie positiv und schauen Sie nach vorn. Jeder kann Mal schlechte Zeiten haben.

Here’s a bandaid rip-off. If you ever think you know everything, retire. There’s no need for you to continue doing this. Truly. If you don’t think you know a lot, if you don’t know anything, heck if you know a lot but just truly know you’ll never know everything. You three will do good, you will be helped. You will have unremarkable growth and admiration from eyes other than yours on what you become capable of. As a wise man once said, I will always help the willingness to learn but when you know more than me or think you know it all, humble yourself and take a walk.

Never Ever Ever give up!!Stay Focused on Your Goals Maintain a Positive Attitude,Stay Persistent. Cultivate a positive mindset and believe in your ability to overcome obstacles and achieve your goals. Surround yourself with positive influences that reinforce your determination and goals.

Never underestimate the value of the walk-around. Use it to get the customer familiar and bring our any objections as well as giving them a chance to develop an emotional attachment to the vehicle.

Some of the oldest presentation techniques are by far still the most effective. Yes the customer can see the outside and inside of the vehicle but by presenting an informative and interesting walk around highlighting key details / features that are tailored to their needs identified during qualification is key. e.g. Golf clubs fitting in the boot.

Not everyone will be good at this profession. Your born with it. The rest is people getting money from the less talented people. You're either good right away or struggle forever. 25 yr old veteran who's always led the board. Ohh plus be a workaholic. I'll whip all you wimps of the floor cuz I'll put work the weak.
