A few things here; * Effective time management is essential for balancing your training, competitions, and business responsibilities. Using scheduling tools and setting clear priorities can help streamline your daily routine. * Delegating tasks to trusted managers or assistants can also make a big difference, allowing you to reduce stress and focus more on your performance. * Incorporating mindfulness and mental conditioning techniques into your routine can help you stay centered and manage stress better. * Regular sessions with a sports psychologist or mental coach could be really beneficial. * Building a strong support network of family, friends, and mentors can provide the emotional and practical support you need.

In sports management, it's all about keeping athletes focused on what matters most, performance. There's a time and place for everything, so I work to manage the business demands around them. By handling sponsorships, media requests, and brand partnerships, athletes can concentrate on their game without distractions. Setting clear boundaries and timelines for off-field commitments allows them to stay sharp when it counts. When performance is the priority, everything else falls into place. My job is to ensure they can give 100% to their sport, while I look after the rest.

Yes in this age athlete are more than athletes 1. Time management is very important and prioritizing your tasks. 2. Having a personalized Manager and a well-rounded team who looks out for the athlete daily makes life easier for the athlete 3. An Athelte should not lose the focus that their main job is performing on the pitch. (Leave commercial and off-the-pitch activities to agents/managers etc) 4. Performance on the pitch is success off the pitch (it is co-related)

Clear boundaries are essential. I encourage athletes to set designated times for meetings, appearances, and business matters, while protecting their training and recovery time. This ensures that off-the-field commitments don’t bleed into critical preparation periods. Additionally, fostering mindfulness practices helps athletes stay mentally sharp and present. Regular meditation, breathing exercises, or even sports psychology sessions can reduce stress and enhance focus on the field, despite external pressures. Lastly, communication is key. Regular check-ins with the athlete about their mental and emotional well-being can help identify when business pressures are becoming too much.

The revenue model for today's student-athlete and pros who jumped directly from high school -- mandates a complete support system to line up priorities and business management. To stay organized they must have the same tools, focus and resolve as a CEO or founder of a start-up. Surround yourself with a personal board of advisors/specialists for your business, your brand, who are in it for you -- so you can focus on what you do best.
