Celebrate Success-When staff see tangible benefits and receive recognition for their efforts, it validates the decision to change and motivates continued progress.

Gamification could be the key. Let's turn the transition into a friendly competition between teams. Award points for completing training modules on the new communication platform, incentivize early adoption with challenges and leaderboards, and even offer rewards for creative content shared within the new system. This playful approach can normalize the new platform, foster healthy competition, and highlight the benefits through real-world application.

ICs have many tools: they can produce compelling videos capturing frontline workers' daily challenges & the impact of their work, or they can write articles praising their silent efforts. Recognition campaigns allow colleagues to acknowledge each other's contributions. I particularly favor recognition programs based on the company's core values. This not only celebrates individual achievements but also reinforces the company culture through its people. Recognition doesn't require a hefty budget. What truly matters is the feeling it creates for these heroes- a sense of appreciation, belonging, and the knowledge that their hard work is valued.

Why are they pushing back? Find this out and start there. Otherwise you could spend your valuable time on solutions that don’t actually address the issue.

I think its important to implement the changes GRADUALLY to allow staff time to adjust. Start with small, manageable changes and build up to full implementation. And needless to mention, involve them at every stage and not just the beginning. When they feel included and heard, they are more likely to buy into the changes :)
