However, I disagree with frequent overhauls of existing interfaces. Constant changes can confuse users. Instead, gradual updates yield better results, as seen in a smooth transition for an e-commerce site I worked on. Balancing innovation with user familiarity is critical.

In the end, your client is storing their data with your system. If they can’t get to that data the way they need to, then they will consider it unusable for them. Obviously, that’s bad for you and them.

Always prioritize accessibility over design trends. If you cannot implement a certain UX with WCAG guidelines then perhaps you should not implement it in the existing code base. For example let's say you want to implement a modal but the modal content cannot be read by the screen reader. Although the modal might be the newest trend but if you sacrifice accessibility for this then you are actually limiting your user experience instead of enhancing it. That's why make sure whatever new UX trend you are applying has the same level of accessibility or better accessibility than your previous iterations.

There are two forms of data, detail and overview. detail information are the particular details of the records. There is a unique record coupled with optional reference data. This data is big and usually the slowest. Load it when you need it... Overview data is the aggregates of the detail. This data has been analyzed and condensed to convey summary of many records, or aggregates attached to unique records. Usually displayed in some kind of list or repeater form. This data is used to identify the detail record. Either to confirm the record, or access to the unique record's detail. Depending on the usage, you can pre-create the overview info, or pull the data ad hoc... you make the call, but you have options.

You might think that you need just lots of end users of your application, but in my opinion on every stage of the development process, it is very good to have users who give you some thoughs, opinion even something like a direction how to do it differently. In development, to embrace a new technology you need to get approval of four roles to be successful. The investor who pays and gate keeper who ensures success are the management. The coach is the role promoting the new technology. And the user, if they don't use it, why did you write it? Simple enough, integrate this idea with the grind. The grind is day to day work by the players in the development. Tendencies is to work on the things you are good at. Boss looking for results, manager keeping project on track. Coach looking for the wins. And users wanting to do work and get their recognition. My advice, work with the coach, understand the vision. Figure out the user's affected behavior and goals, base feedback on their abilities.

I see this whole artificial as well as many contributors focus on UI and frontend technologies, which definitely take a big part of UX, but keep in mind that is not all in UX. With customer behavior and expectation keeps evolving, it is crucial to keep track of the trend and learn a little bit about everything (e.g. AI). This allows you to be creative and design the next UX that is ahead of time.
