Una vez definidas es clave poder transmitirlas y que todas las personas involucradas puedan entender y alinearse a los objetivos e impulsar las mejoras en conjunto.

De acuerdo a mi experiencia, puedo comentar que he participado en la creación de dos empresas partiendo de cero; el definir con claridad los objetivos a alcanzar, así como la normativa que rige la actividad en la que participa, permite que cada esfuerzo realizado acelere el progreso del proyecto, sobre todo cuando cada integrante comprende hacia donde nos queremos dirigir, los indicadores son la brújula que le da sentido a nuestra operación.

Para establecer los objetivos claros, estos deben estar alineados a los objetivos estratégicos de la organización y que al explicarlos al grupo del trabajo permita trazar las metas con lo que la organización busca a largo plazo. Las metas u objetivos deben respetar la forma SMART.

When the frontline has autonomy to chose the behaviors they know will have impact and apply them consistently, and measure their success against the end result, they will organically realize what's working and what's not. They will then self correct by improving the action or determining if a new behavior is needed. With objective and transparent data, each team member understands their impact and will want to improve to support the team success.

Isso não só nos possibilita comemorar as pequenas conquistas e evoluções, mas também identificar pontos no processo que necessitem de correções. Ou seja, quanto mais de perto for o acompanhamento, mais ágeis e efetivas as ações para correções de desvios, sejam eles de equipamentos, condições e/ou comportamentais.

As avaliações e conversas devem ser regulares. Assim que os colaboradores entenderem como funciona a prática, já se sentirão mais motivados. Em todos os feedbacks, metas devem ser definidas para que a prática faça parte do cotidiano da empresa e não se torne um evento esporádico.
