I often write the deployment plan for many projects or review and edit them alongside a colleague, so everyone is aligned.

Exactly set the goals , be it a long term goal , just focus on daily growth , one step at a time and remember "Rome was not built in a day" , and most important is the self belief that you have, never ever doubt your self.Take the decision and work hard to make it right.

I am a big-believer in collaboration tools. Shared calendars, Slack, Sharepoints, Shared folders etc are a must for asynchronous communication. Meetings should always be preceded by Agenda and followed by MoM to make sure everyone is aligned on the expectations and outcome. More importantly, I believe in in-person meeting off and on, so that get more engaged with the person even over digital methods of communication when you are familiar with the personality, individual quirks and work habits.

Treat members like friends, without distinguishing ranks at work. Allow everyone to be comfortable and free to communicate without any limits. Organize short weekly meetings of about 30 minutes to gather the members.
