We need to rethink what it means to set boundaries. Rather than "boundaries" we should cultivate living in the moment. I try to give myself fully to whatever task is at hand without getting distracted. So when I spend time with my family, I'm focused on my family. When I work out, my goal is to stay 100 percent in that zone. If I'm at dinner with a friend, I try very hard to give that person my undivided attention. Living in the moment means living without fear and blessedly giving up the illusion of control. It means understanding that "work" and "life" are interchangeable. It's one continuous flow. It's a lifelong pursuit but as far as I can tell, it's the only path to living fully, peacefully and without a lot of "noise"

Start early in the day and avoid distractions. Take small breaks to recharge and refresh mind cells. Keep mail reples short and simple.

This is crucial! At the end of the day we are all just human beings, not work horses. No matter how passionate you are about something, there's always a need to unplug & reset. A rested mind and body can provide new perspectives and ways of thinking. Find and make the time to replenish yourself by doing the things you enjoy outside of work. Make space for friends and family members to support you in your career, but also on your adventures.

This is something I have had to do from time to time. As it can get a bit confusing and complicated at times when I have to split time between work, school, and family. At times I have employed a switch places when switching tasks method. For example, drive to a cafe or coffee shop to do work tasks since I am already out and about for work, and then not starting a school task till I am back at the home office. Then finally, spending family time outside the home office. It is simple, but effective on not overwhelming yourself and keeping both mental and physical spaces organized.

Tras años de experiencia en puestos de responsabilidad y mucho estudio, terapia y meditación. Puedo decir que no hay un camino a recomendar para alcanzar una vida balanceada. Los consejos sirven de poco. Sin embargo, a grandes rasgos has de detectar por dónde estás haciendo aguas, y que otras áreas de tu vida se ven afectadas. Valora las acciones a ejecutar desde ya y de que otras cosas pueden ser estás acciones palanca. Aquello a lo que no quieres prestar atención es la clave, seguramente del asunto.
