I used to work with in an academic post graduate library. We had embarked on and I was leading a program of digitization of notes and handouts. Most students were young and easily adopted to the eLibrary platform and sharing of materials. One specific customer, who was possibly above 50 years would approach seeking assistance on access. I realized that he preferred to ask in private as he did not want to be embarrassed before other students. I requested him that whenever he had an issue he should come to my office or call me even if just to just say high. I am pleased that the mature student passed all his bar examinations on first trial. He was within the very top 30%.

We have many technologies around learning. In academia for instance, there could be the students' portal, corporate email login, VPN Login and possible remote login to online learning resources. If not well managed, these could bring fatigue. Where possible, there should be single signon integration to all the above services for seamless access.
