I believe that the faster you are able to get everything set up faster and the more preparation you have beforehand. The quicker you can get everything done. Therefore, the more partnerships you have and technology set up beforehand the easier it will be come the time of the event. Delegation based on skill sets. Utilizing each weakness and strength of the past events. Thinking about how many are attending in order to best support the space needed; such as decorating and building/buying; painting, ect.

I truly believe adaptability is the difference between a "good" and "bad" event partner (whether it's corporate, wedding, etc.). What event can you HONESTLY say went 100% as expected, with absolutely no curve balls? It's our responsibility as event specialists to streamline and sift through the chaos that may ensue, even if it means driving an hour away for more greenery to hang from the ceiling hours before guest arrival... And another reason why it's great to have level headed, creative, fast thinkers on your team!
