One thing I found helpful is considering public objective and statistics about the group or area, it is like regionalism in every town, State or country with different needs according to weather for example, if The area suffers floods during the rainy season, people usually looking for cars can deal with, other examples could be purchasing power, economic activity, The type and cost of cheapest fuel available, type of roads or infrastructure in the region, thefts of certain vehicle characteristics, road laws and regulations, average age in the population, offer of similar options from the competition available in the area especially when it is easy access to information as internet, people usually compare to take a final decision.

One thing I have found helpful is Team Skill mapping and each one has expertise in their own areas which is called as SME. Always take average performance of whole years work is being done to evaluate the team, take bias comments based on purely his performance as against set goals for him.

The best leaders are not "Masters of all things in their fields", but rather generalists that can look to others to help them know which ways to go. This empowers people being led to feel as though they have a say in things, and often gets the best ideas. Even when there are no "award winning ideas" put forth in the team, it is still better to pick the path that seems most logical in order not to stifle creativity in those being led.
