Being practical is key. There are so many new innovations every week that nobody can keep up. My rule of thumb is to try to keep a regular feedback cycle. It can be a sprint, a day, a month, or whatever fits your needs. But your goal should be to have a demonstrable difference in functionality, performance, quality, etc. regularly. Keeping such a schedule allows you to receive feedback often. This also means you need to account for the time to process said feedback. Otherwise, this was a mere courtesy to ask. And contrary to popular belief, your own team can be your source of feedback!

This will ensure you wont be paralyzed by overwhelming transformation, and allow you to develop your skills and become a thought leader in a few areas of expertise.
