How can Influencer Marketing professionals maintain work-life balance remotely?

Having set working hours is a must in this field. Yes, sometimes we have to get content live over the weekend or during non-business hours, but this can be minimized by having everything ready during business hours so one can just do a quick check through their phone. Action items should not be tagged or be expected to be finished during offline hours

In the past, I was always on hand to assist influencers as part of my job, way outside of my normal working hours. This eventually wore me down mentally, so I decided that after I clock off for the day, I would turn off my DMs and suspend all push notifications for apps until the following day. Just doing these two simple things showed the influencers that I was not available all hours of the day anymore, and this led them to contact the on-shift staff.

In my experience planning and prioritizing is crucial considering both professional and private perspectives. It's important to schedule in advance time for: - learning - unexpected tasks - people - creating innovation culture When it becomes too much on the daily routine, it means that I didn't succeed in making a good use of the most important resource we have: time. Our time, the time of colleagues, friends, family, etc. It is useful to keep an elicopter view and go strict to the point. I personally become more creative in finding solutions by breaking the routines on purpose (days and structures of meetings, workflows, people's interactions) as well as giving more autonomy and decision making capabilities to the team.

In addition I also set a weekly "Stand-up" meeting once a week on a Wednesday which brought all orders of business to the table and gave us all an overview of pending tasks, projects and more and this helped us prioritize and strategize in collaboration.

Always keep an edge to your skills. Is a new "Revolutionary" app or product perfect for you? What trends are currently blowing up on social media and within the industry? Always do your research, and block time in your days to dedicate solely to research. This can often save you time and keep you ahead of the curve. But it also helps you to grow, learn new things, and experience new project types. There is no limit to what you can learn and grow, so always strive to want to learn the next big thing. You won't regret it, and it can help your job for years to come.
