How can you advocate for solar power policies that support growth?

There is still a lot of myth, trumped up financial analysis which do not clearly show the cost impact of using solar. It is easy to convince a rural community the advantage of a solar lamp in a household bringing light in the total darkness. At higher income levels, residents require more economic viable solar power support, far beyond their income, they need subsidies and back-up batteries at this level the costs become prohibitive, that is where subsidies are required. Without this support from the government solar will remain as being looked upon as a toy for the rich families. The issues of climate change should impell us to embrace solar technology. For people to live to their conviction they need support.
