How can you build a team that values diversity?

We need to take a close look at the people who work here and see if we have a good mix of different kinds of people. We want to know if everyone feels included and respected. We must Start by assessing the current state of diversity within the organization and the team. Understand the demographics of your current workforce and identify any gaps in diversity. Evaluate the company's culture and policies to determine if they are inclusive and supportive of diversity. This assessment can include surveys, interviews, and focus groups to gather feedback from employees. We can ask people about their experiences and thoughts to get a better idea of how we're doing.

One thing I found useful to start with is for the recruitment team to consider diversity in all forms that is people should be employed by their capabilities without looking into the race, sex or cultural differences etc. Then training on diversity and inclusion to follow and to be mandatory to all employees and to be continuous after every specific period and the training content to be upgraded accordingly. Then company to put a culture of celebrating all key events of the specific group so that to induce the inclusion and make sure everyone fill important. All the judgments to be based on KPI and to be flat for all.

The only way to build a team that values diversity is building a diverse team and being a promoter of diversity in your personal and professional life. Being into several different diversity groups, forums and discussions is key to get the essential information and formation to give voice for each and every diverse people on your team, company and life. You can only build diverse teams if you live into diverse communities and get this as core value in your life, otherwise than that is just small talk and social media conversations.

Diversity is the key for innovative ideas! We all come from different cultural backgrounds with different perceptions! It is very critical to have a diverse team, I believe this will nurture a strong relationship among the team members as well.
