We can explain it as how much information loss is allowed during the process and that too performed using Kullback-Leibler divergence (KL), indicated how much the transformed distribution of a feature diverges from the target distribution and Information Preservation Rate(IPR), Calculates the ratio of significant transformations to total transformations, indicating the preservation of original information.

While AUC, ROC are good performance metrics, they only reflect performance based on the current data. It is also essential to evaluate actual performance. Is your model delivering the results you expected during development? How much value is it generating because of good prediction? How much it is costing the business? Is it within the estimated risk during model building?
