How can you overcome self-doubt and trust your creative instincts?

Talk to yourself as you would your best friend. Build yourself back up, encourage yourself, and rediscover self-love while appreciating where you're at in your beautiful journey. The ultimate way to overcome creative self-doubt is to remove the mental barriers that you create for yourself. We need to build a mental fortitude.

You need to cooperate with your fears - they can seems harmful, however they will save you from the disasters which can happen. Sometime it is ok to be afraid. For example - you are in the important meeting. Things are going wrong. It is not a good time to propose some not feasible solution - it will only increase the "Temperature" in the room. Be quiet and thank your fears - they just helped your career.

I start my day with some prayer, meditation, and positive affirmations. Our mind is a cassette tape of what we tell it. What music do you want to hear today? Building a strong foundation for my day right from the jump helps to build positive self-talk, which makes all the difference in my confidence, shrinking the amount of fear I feel.

Il est également très important de partager le partager autour de vous, à chaque fois que l'occasion se présente. Cela vous permettra de l'affiner et de le réadapter au quotidien.

For years I would literally rehearse what I was going to say before I walked into a situation. I made a list of my personal highlights and a list of things I wanted to accomplish in that space. And then I would rehearse my conversation starters. We have to reprogram the brain to reframe all the negative self talk and replace it with positive self talk. We all have special sets of skills and no one else is like us. So we have to live in that space. Convince yourself that your talents and skills are needed and anyone who doesn’t see that is not your problem. Say it every morning until you believe it and practice those conversations so that you always speak well of yourself and knock out your networking goals.

For the past five months, positive dialogue has been one of my top focuses. When negative self-dialogue occurs, I stop what I am doing and immediately remind myself of my value, the good, and past accomplishments. Reminding myself that it is simply a fear coming up and I have the tools to counteract it.

It’s never too late to keep learning. I always dream of finishing my bachelor degree on IT area and here I’m studying again and leading and enjoying our study time with my peers that are younger than me

Risks are part of the creative process. To create work that is truly "original", and "never-done before", you have to anticipate an equally unpredictable response. Embrace it. Work that is remembered, is work that's taken the risk. As a creative, you're constantly battling self-doubt, or rationalising gut vs logic; but you also need to learn to depend on your intuition.

Step out of your comfort zone and try new things. Taking risks can lead to unexpected rewards and increased confidence. Start with baby steps.

Be ok that your support network will not always be your family. Many times they will try to hold you to the person you were and will not allow you to grow into the person you’re trying to be. Go where you are celebrated right now and who will support you to the next level, however small that support looks like. Also, try not to be hard on someone who doesn’t support the way that you would. Allow them to operate from their space of understanding and be grateful for whatever they can give. Show them grace.

We can be solitary people but we are social human beings that requiere some positive reinforcement or even a hard conversations when needed, choose your loved ones carefully and cherish them

Take the first step! Confidence and motivation are built with a reinforcing loop of taking action and receiving positive feedback. It is embedded in our DNA and is observed very early in life. Every little step, will give you the courage to move forward.

Practice. Being creative is not a skill, it’s a perspective, so use it as often as you can in as many situations as you can, and when it is really important, you will be able to be creative easily. We are all creative in different ways. Trust your inner knowing and follow your curiosity.

Jump in!! Once you start doing something you’ve been nervous about the nerves dramatically fall away. Think about sky diving. Anxious standing there waiting to jump but once you’ve taken the leap it’s an exciting rush.
