One think I can find beneficial in carpooling, is essentially emission reduction. However there are several other benefits such as socialising, networking, economic also during the commute.

But in order to make it sustainable and efficient there are so many other things that needed to be planned like the route of pool, vehicle type no of passenger etc To my experience car pool before COVID was great success. The reason was the cost for passenger. It used to cost quiet less than normal ride but at the same time passenger always used to hope they don’t get other pool request while they are travelling So it’s really important to know user and driver perspective along with the route planning for carpool to be really game changer
